Sunday's this December were a bit crazy for us. In addition to church, Chris was also working (through Starbucks but at Williams-Sonoma) at Park Meadows Mall which is about 30 minutes away. After he got off work at the mall, he would meet us at our evening church (or our Sunday night church as we call it). After church, we would run home, Chris would change into dark clothes and we would head out to deliver our Elf Gifts. Because of all that, we usually ended up doing our Advent Calendar on Monday. This week (on Monday) we read Luke 1:26-38.
This week for our Elf Gift, we gave root beer and beans ("Have a rootin' tootin' Christmas!"). By week 2, Chris was getting good hopping fences and running away super fast. However, 2 of the people we gave gifts to are from our church. No problem, right? Except for technology! Each of them posted on FaceBook and, of course, began reading the others posts. The one problem is that these 2 people live on opposite sides of town and we were afraid they would see the one person's post and wait for us. Note: Neither of them caught us!
