Recently we took a week long trip to Northern PA, NY, CT and NH. It was a great time to spend together as a family as well as have the opportunity to share our vision with family and friends.
Our trip took us to some small small towns in what someone kindly called "Pennsatucky" (the Kentucky version in Pennsylvania). In one of those small towns, a lady quickly explained how to make homemade yogurt and mozzarella cheese. As soon as we get to CO, I am going to try to make them. If they turn out good, then I will share the recipe. I'm a little nervous as it sounds a little too easy, but we will try it out anyway.
Our trip also took us to visit friends that were either new to Chris or new to me. It was fun to meet some of Chris's friends and vice versa. At several of the homes, Elianna was able to fight play with some little girls her age. You can tell she is an only child who doesn't have to share her toys. Oh boy...
It was a full trip with us driving quickly here or there, but it gave us a preview of our next trip that is coming up quickly. Which leads me to an update on where we are with our move to CO.
Next week I will be working 1/2 days (yahoo!) and in the afternoon repacking our boxes to get them ready to move. The beginning of October we will start our journey to the South where along the way we will be stopping and sharing with others. The end of October my brother, Eric, will be getting married on the beautiful beach. After spending some time in Pensacola FL, we will be driving back (with stops along the way) back to PA. Yup, you got it. We will be packing it up and moving it cross country with a stop every now and then. Theoretically, we will be in CO in less than 2 months. *Panic attack*
We are so thankful for the support of our family and friends. Please continue to pray for us as we will be traveling and gone from home for about a month. God has been good and has shown His steadfast love for which we give thanks.
I'm not sure why but the rest of the pictures I took are not downloading properly into the computer. Will try another time.
