The last 2 weeks (VBS) ended up being harder than I initially thought. Two weeks of not putting my little girl to bed at night was very hard. Two weeks of the hot sun beating down on my back was very hard. I think I'm getting old. Two weeks of getting to bed a hour later than normal was super hard on Elianna.
We did have a great 2 weeks, despite the heat, of VBS. We saw 3 junior high teens accept Christ as their Savior. We had a high (6th-8th graders) of 86. They were shooting for 100 so they could get pizza and Rita's water ice. It was close. But alas, they did not make it and another year of VBS has come to a close.
Yesterday Chris was asked to speak at a church in PA for their third Sunday youth service. He did a great job and we enjoyed ourselves but it was, once again, very hard for Elianna. She fell asleep on the way home and did not wake up even when Chris got her out of her car seat.
This week it is "Back in the Groove" week. Back in the groove of Elianna getting her rest, back in the groove of keeping up with the laundry, back in the groove of cleaning this here house, back in the groove of keeping up with 2 blogs and back in the groove of exercising. Wish us luck. Especially on the last one.
