Graduation Weekend

Well today is Friday and I'm just now getting a chance to sit down and write about last weekend. Last weekend was full of graduation parties. Let me explain exactly what full means. The first party started at noon - the second party started at 2pm - the third party started at 4pm. After this we went home, gave back the dog, ordered 40 pizzas for Sunday night, and tried to make it to Abigail's dance recital which we missed. We made it to the fourth party by 8pm. We then went back to church to finish decorating for the church graduation party. We went to bed about 3:30am. Now you understand why it has taken all week to get here to write about it. Busy!

The graduation service at church went very well and the party after was nice. Glad it is over though! Here is a picture of the graduating class of 2007 from FBC (minus 1 - he didn't know we were taking a picture).

Now this weekend we have FIFA Frenzi (soccer games) Saturday afternoon from 2pm-8pm. Hopefully Chris and I will both make it to the beach Monday with some teens - ah, relaxation and sun!!!

Here is my good-looking husband with Shaun's cowboy hat.

The Fast & the Furious . . . & a little in between

The Fast
Last Friday, Chris and I went to a race to watch 2 grandchildren (Dana and Sammy) of a man in our church. Dana is 16 and Sammy is 15 - scary to think they are driving before they actually get their license and going much faster than normal driving! Sammy got 2nd place while Dana got in an accident and did not finish the race. It was alot of fun to watch - it also put a racing bug into Chris! He was very excited to find out they have a "Faster Pastor" race for youth groups. The pastors get to race in a 4 cylinder car (basically a junker) that other drivers donate for this race. He is very excited about this possibility!

It was extremely muddy on the track that night!

The little in between
This Saturday was our first Saturday totally off in a really long time so we spent it doing not too much! In the morning we went cherry picking at an orchard right outside of Princeton. The cherries were huge and really yummy (and almost gone)!

The Goatee boys!

The Furious (not really)
We are also dog sitting this week for Pastor Carpenter. The dog's name is Shobi. She is a good dog. It is nice to have her around during the day when I would normally be by myself. Here she is napping with Chris Sunday afternoon.

This weekend is full of graduation parties and church grad. night! Party, party! Love to all!

The Circus

This morning, the preschool from Faith put on a "circus" for their parents. I went to see Abigal be a juggler. They were all so cute! The 3 year olds "walked" the tight rope (a rope put on the ground). They had little umbrellas and walked really slowly and carefully across the rope. In the 4 year old class there were strong men, tigers, dogs, elephants, clowns, tumblers and the jugglers. They took this very seriously!

These are the clown teachers.

Wait, another clown?!? :) Just kidding! Love you honey!

We also had a YAC last night. Here I am with two girls that used to be quiet but are now opening up alot!

Weekend Fun

Hopefully this new format will help the weird paragraph problems it was having. Well, we made it through Superama. For those of you who don't know - Superama is an activity with the teens where we stay up all night long. It is alot of fun but the days after are killers! This year we went to a Trenton Thunder (minor league baseball team) game where we got rained out (5:30-10pm). Here we all are in the rain.
Then we went to Rockville which is a rockwall climbing place (10pm-12:30am). I think this is Chris climbing. If not, it looks like his back.
On to bowling (1-3:30am) - lastly rollerskating (3:30-5:30am). Very long night. We are still trying to catch up on our sleep. Here are some pictures the teens hate to have taken but we love taking them!
On Saturday, Tom, Cheri, Abigal, Chris and I went to a boardwalk on the beach. Here is a picture of Cheri and Abigal by the water.

Abigal and I rode the roller coaster twice because she loved it so much!

Thanks for checking in on us - we miss each one of you! Love ~ Us
