Well after Harley's run in with the semi truck, he only broke 2 bones in his front right leg and then, of course, has the big gash in his face. He does not appear to have any internal injuries. The vet was amazed that this is all that happened to him. Right now, he has a temporary wrapping on his leg. Monday we go to get the "permanent" cast which he will have to wear for 4 weeks. Four very long weeks. Four weeks of not being able to run out all his energy. Four weeks of carrying him up and down the stairs. Four weeks of him hobbling on 3 legs. Long weeks. He will survive, but will we? Oh our aching backs.
