Do you see the word Free followed on the next page by a bunch of activities that would be happening? (Note: the star at the bottom of page 2 simply says "Only available on Saturday") Did you know that the word Free only applied to admission? All the activities were pay as you go. Hmmm... Maybe I'm just gullible (gullible is in the dictionary?) but we went with the intention of doing all those things for free. Besides the fact that everyone setting up was super behind, we didn't do any of those free things except for the bounce house which was free (the tour of the candy factor was also free but the line was at least 100 deep - no joke). You live and you learn and you come to grips with nothing is free in life (except for a bounce house or two).
Elianna was too scared to go down the big slide. Little kids (but bigger than her) invited her to go with them but she wouldn't do it. Finally Chris carried her up the slide and slid down with her and her little friend, Dani. Usually after she does something once, she's game to do it again. However, she declined the opportunity to go down the slide again.
Lest I be Negative Nancy once again, let me say it was a good day spent with Chris and Elianna. That's what counts!
