Advent Calendar - Day #4

When it snows a whole bunch, it's easy to change your plans to a snow day.  Elianna really wanted to bury Chris in the snow, but was talked out of it when we told her how cold Chris was underneath all that snow.  She also really wanted to make a snowman, but the snow was not good snowman snow at all.  Instead, she got to ride on the sled which was just as much fun!  We also cleaned off two of our elderly neighbors cars and shoveled their sidewalks.  Of course, as soon as we shoveled the sidewalks and cleaned off their cars more snow covered it back up.  Ah well!

We weren't able to stay out too long because Elianna had to come back in and warm up before heading back out to school.  After school and a looong drive home due to the weather, we went to church to take part in a soccer end of the year party.  One of the guys in our church started a soccer team at the refugee apartments.  We fed them chili and soup before they received their medals and played some games.

The weather has been subzero temps .... Brrr!  Perfect snow weather ... now if the schools would just take off school, we could stay home in the warm house!
