This weeks elf gift was spiced apple cider packets tied up in a bow. No fancy schmancy packaging just a nice simple bow.
Since Chris was in still in Texas, my friend Angie helped me again this year. Apparently she is a much gentler knocker because the wary elf receiver commented on FaceBook:
I love our friends. For Reals. Seems like we've found some sort of gift on our porch every other day this past week. Thank you to whoever dropped off tonight's gift and knocked softly this time.
Our dogs however have been on high alert every night for any sound of knocking or doorbells.. and we don't even have a doorbell! A really good prank would be to grab our phones and change a ring tone or text message notification sound to that of a knocking door or doorbell. Our dogs just goes nuts.. haha
You all make us feel appreciated. Thank you
Whew! I think we won them over! Now that the drama is all past, I'm really glad we kept giving to them and "made" them like receiving gifts.
