Answers

How does one go about answering questions that you, my dear readers, leave on the comment page? I have been wondering this because I don't know what the "blog protocol" on this subject is. Therefore, this is a post with all the answers to the questions you have left (and probably don't remember you have even left - ha) in the comments on a post (for the year 2009). You can click on the word "Question" to be taken back to the original post.

Question: "Where is the office going to be? What colors have you picked?" - Grape News

Answer: The office is going to be on the front porch. It really wasn't designated to be anything so we decided to turn it into my Chris' office. New carpet was just put in on Tuesday - it is a beige color. My Chris requested that the walls be a dark blue and the trim white. So Friday my friend, Karan, came and helped me start painting it. It is going to look very nice once it is all done.

Question: "Will you call her Ellie?" -LottFam

Answer: We are going to start out by calling her Elianna and go from there. Either it will be something that just "happens" or when she is older, can choose to be called that. I will note however, that some in my family have already begun calling her Ellie (huhum...Sissy). We'll see.

Question: "What did you make this for?" (in reference to the Angel Lush cake) -Grape News

Answer: I made the Angel Lush cake for the Valentine's Day Banquet we had at church this year. I have also made it for company - it is a nice and light summer dessert (did I mention super easy to make too?)

Question: "So did you ever find the poo?" -Momma

Answer: There never was any poo in the house (on that day anyway) - my Chris was just smelling something. Poor Harley has been sick since them and there has been poo - although not in my shoe.

The Nursery

We have yet to get started on putting together the nursery for Elianna, but the ideas are there. Chris and I had found the bedding we just loved, but sadly, Babies R Us does not sell it any longer. Since it was exactly what we wanted and we didn't want to change the colors, I set out on a mission to find the bedding. I am one of those people who, when they get something they like in their head, will go to great lengths to find it. Yay for us - I found it on Ebay. It was a great price and the lady selling it said her daughter never slept in her crib overnight and only took 2 naps in it! Basically it is brand new! Wahoo! This is a picture of the comforter and then of part of the bumper. The picture below that is how we are planning on painting the walls. Once our nursery gets painted and set up, I'll be sure to post those pictures.

On a side note: We were planning on taking some pictures yesterday so you all could see my belly (not naked for those of you wondering and sweating it out), but time got away from us. Hopefully, we will get to that soon!

Weeks 29-32 - Squash

Back in Business!

Guess what the FedEx guy brought me today?!?!?!  

Our Mac Book Pro!  Can you tell I'm excited?!?  I think it is actually excitement more because there will actually be a computer in our house again - more than the actual computer itself although I must say it is very nice and cool!

Soooo . . . there should be more posts coming up soon.  Although, there hasn't been much to post about - a lot going on - just not blog-worthy.  I do have a couple in mind though.  See ya!
