Question: "Where is the office going to be? What colors have you picked?" - Grape News
Answer: The office is going to be on the front porch. It really wasn't designated to be anything so we decided to turn it into my Chris' office. New carpet was just put in on Tuesday - it is a beige color. My Chris requested that the walls be a dark blue and the trim white. So Friday my friend, Karan, came and helped me start painting it. It is going to look very nice once it is all done.
Question: "Will you call her Ellie?" -LottFam
Answer: We are going to start out by calling her Elianna and go from there. Either it will be something that just "happens" or when she is older, can choose to be called that. I will note however, that some in my family have already begun calling her Ellie (huhum...Sissy). We'll see.
Question: "What did you make this for?" (in reference to the Angel Lush cake) -Grape News
Answer: I made the Angel Lush cake for the Valentine's Day Banquet we had at church this year. I have also made it for company - it is a nice and light summer dessert (did I mention super easy to make too?)
Question: "So did you ever find the poo?" -Momma
Answer: There never was any poo in the house (on that day anyway) - my Chris was just smelling something. Poor Harley has been sick since them and there has been poo - although not in my shoe.
And there are the answers to your questions. If you know what "blog protocol" is on this subject or any ideas, let me know. I'm interested in knowing (and maybe I can stop losing sleep over it - hehe!).

We have friends with an Elliana, and they call her Ellie. I think they planned to do that though.
Like your choice for the nursery and I LOVE the dark blue and white. Just saw it in a magazine. Anxious to see how the office turns out.

i'm not exactly sure on the correct way, but i try to email back an answer, if an email address is available, or i comment on their blog (if available) or comment back on my blog.

i'm with you on the elliana full name thingy. we gave our kiddies their names (abigail and nathaniel) for a reason and we had given STRICT instructions to family (listen up there, grape news) to only call them by their given names. since the blog, they have been called by their "blogger names" a lot, and i'm okay with that. i just don't like the shortened versions of their real names.

So far we are still calling her Elianna. No one has really said Elie (how would you spell that?--another question for you) :) I'm getting used to Elianna. I was thinking more if my kids couldn't say her full name, but I forgot we are talking about my kids. They can say it just fine.
Momma: sometimes I forget what your kids real names are. They are Princess and Little Man to me.
