Let's Get This Party Started

In addition to devouring Mexican with friends the day before Chris' birthday, we also had a small party at his ESL class.  His class loves him and wanted to shower him with love on his birthday.  Elianna and I had never meet anyone in his class, so we crashed the party.  They adored Elianna!  One of the ladies bought her a pink monkey and they brought all kinds of food.  Granted some of the food was a bit different but overall it was full of sugar and fun!  

There are 4 ladies and 1 man in his class who are all Russian.  4 out of the 5 are Russian Jews and the 5th is Russian Orthodox.  Our discussion for the day involved asking them about their families and finding out just a little more about them.  We enjoyed our time with them and have been invited back!

I feel bad that Chris' birthday in general was so low key so maybe next year we'll have to have a big hoopla party!
