Day 2 - Advent Wreath
The Advent Wreath is made up of a wreath (duh!) and 5 candles. Some only put 4 candles on their wreath while others (us) put on 5. Every Sunday before reading Scripture, a candle is lit. The second Sunday - 2 candles ... the third Sunday - 3 candles until on the fourth Sunday all 4 candles will be lit. The fifth candle is lit on Christmas morning before reading Luke 2.
PS: The wreath needs a little bit of color but am not sure exactly what - any ideas?
