Snow Camp 2011

Recently we took the teens on our annual Snow Camp trip to Spofford, NH. This years theme was "We are family" with an emphasis on youth group being a family and within a family are responsibilities and unity. The weekend was awesome! God worked in such a great way in the teens lives!

We divided the teens up into "families" which basically boiled down to a fancy name for our small groups. Part of promoting unity even within our small family was to come up with an item that we could all wear for the weekend as a way of identifying who was in what family. Chris' family was the "Gym Class Heros" and my family was the "Bling Squad."

A couple of highlights (at least for me) from the weekend were:

Worship times

Having fun

Listening to teen testimonies about family

Getting to hang out with some of my best friends

Hearing convicting messages

Getting an awesome manicure
Isn't this the coolest? It is a layer of nail polish with a layer of crackle nail polish over top. It was waaay cool to watch the polish crack.

Watching God work

And the best part: Coming home to see her!
Elianna sure did rock my families blinking green glasses (hence the name "Bling Squad") when we got home!
