Kickoff Preparations

This week has been a flurry of activity trying to turn the Youth Building into a football stadium. Chris is in the process of building an inflatable tunnel like the ones teams run through to go into the stadium. He is also putting down green turf and will put white duct tape down for yard lines. Lisa has the task of putting up faces on the top half of the wall. It actually is beginning to look as though there are people looking down from a stadium. We will also be arranging the furniture in the back to host a "Sports Cafe" where teens can come and sit to drink coffee or hot chocolate. We are hoping for a great year in Youth Group this year. Please pray that the teens will invite many new teens out to the kickoff so they may hear the Gospel. As soon as the Youth Building is done, I will post some pictures so you can see why I was not able to talk for long on the phone. Thanks to my family for understanding. We love you all!
