He's a Goner

We bought Harley this adorable sock monkey that has an empty water bottle inside. I thought just Harley liked to chew on empty water bottles but apparently it is a "dog thing". They must enjoy the noise of the crunch of the empty water bottle. Anyway, I should have known. Below you will see the before picture of the adorable sock monkey and below it you will see what has become of Mr. Sock Monkey.

Hiatus

Once again, it has been quite awhile since I last posted. There is still no computer at our house and I have not had an opportunity until (obviously) today to come to church and write. I am very sad to report that there has been no amazing activities that have taken place during this posting hiatus. We are, however, at the beginning of attending many graduation parties. The good thing about this is that I don't have to cook any Saturday in June and probably only one in July. There will also be no cooking for two Fridays in June. I love graduation parties!

Over that last several days I have made 179 cupcakes - only halfway done. Yup, we are once again making graduation cupcakes like we did last year. However, I decided to be a bit more "smart" and make the cupcakes over a period of time instead of all of them in one day. So the plan is over the next 3 weeks to make 4 boxes of mix a week (total 12 boxes of cake mix). Here is a picture of how they are supposed to look.

Chris spent the day yesterday at Six Flags with the 8th grade class from our school. For once, it was not a scorching hot day at Six Flags but instead a decent day with . . . wait for it . . . no lines! That in and of itself is an amazing thing!! VBS is right around the corner so he is getting ready for that. He has also had some free time to work on home projects. The next project for him is new carpet in his soon-to-be office space. He is extremely excited about that since he has not had an office for over a year now. Yay for my Chris!

Harley will have a post coming up soon (I know, I know . . . how soon is soon??? Hopefully the next couple of days soon). Needless to say he is doing well and is such a sweet puppy. He does however suffer from sever puppy acne so we are looking into home remedies (so as not to spend money on dog acne) to help clear it up some.

Elianna is continuing to do well. She is growing and moving all around! My friend Wendy and I went last week and registered at Babies R Us. What fun! There are so many cool things out there! Sadly though, they do not sell the bedding we wanted so now we have to pick out new bedding and possibly, new colors for her room. We will see. She will be here in approximately 12 weeks - aaahh!! So much to do in so little time! Better go get to work!

Happy Wednesday!

Where have I been?

Where have I been? Hmm... Let's see. Maybe we've been on a secluded island somewhere (bikini not included at this stage in pregnancy).

Nope (well, maybe in my dreams). Ok then - working hard scrubbing my house.

Definately not! Working out?

Well I finally did go work out today (after a week's rest). (PS: I got this picture off the internet - I hate it when they take my body and put someone else's head on it. I will definately be looking into this. Bahahaha!!!).

Then were have I been? Honest answer? Smelling the flowers my husband got me...

Getting a pedicure...

Shopping...

And an occasional load of laundry.

But to be super honest - my laptop took an extended vacation so I was using my Chris' laptop when he wasn't. Well it decided to catch a bug (hopefully not the swine flu - ha!) so this leaves me computerless until we get a new one (MacBook!!!).

The rest of the family has also been quite busy.

Chris: He is keeping very busy preparing for the last 2 weeks of Wednesday Worships before we take the summer off and go to "big church" on Wednesday nights. Let's see then comes graduation parties (every weekend in June) along with a wedding whose reception is in our back yard, 2 weeks of VBS and a missions trip. All wrapped around house projects and preparing for little Miss Elianna to make her appearance in this world. He is a very busy man!

Elianna: She is doing great! Moves all around and very lovely kicks me and pushes on my innerds. She already has a little personality. If I have my hand on my stomach she will kick and push and move all around. The second my hand comes off and her daddy puts his hand on my stomach, she stops. Hmm... we will have to watch this one for sure!

Harley: He is having to take it easy for the next 2 weeks. On Monday he had "surgery" and now he cannot climb stairs, run, jump, play or do anything a puppy normally does (this includes his "perch" since it is on the stairs). It is interesting to try to curb the puppiness in him - he just doesn't understand. Those big sad puppy eyes looking at me...

Can't say when I will be back but I will definately try to not wait as long. Have a wonderful Wednesday!
